Product Care
Joynson Holland provides you with a range of carefully selected fabrics which can be viewed in your local Joynson Holland retail stockist. Combine your selected fabric with one of the rich show wood frame finishes shown on each model specification page.
Remember to order all your furniture together as we are unable to guarantee an exact match due to slight variations in colour of the dyes.
All foams, fillings and fabrics used in our furniture conform to the current safety requirements, Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations 1988.
Showood frames
Timber is a unique and natural material designed and produced by nature itself. Therefore we cannot guarantee an absolutely exact match between different pieces. The wood can be cleaned with a dilute solution of warm soapy water and vinegar and then buffed with a soft cloth. Do not use spray and other polishes which might make future repairs to the surface difficult.
• Do not sit on the very edge of the cushions or the arms as this can cause premature wear and distortion of filling materials.
• Do not keep furniture in direct sunlight.
• Reversible cushions should be turned daily.
• Fibre cushions need 'plumping up' regularly to maintain fullness and comfort.
• Never use soap or detergents on fabrics which are not 100% colourfast.
• Carefully vacuum your upholstery at least once a week.
• Keep sharp objects and pets claws away from upholstery to avoid snags.
• Some clothing manufacturers use transfer dyes on items such as denim jeans, etc. These dyes can transfer onto light coloured upholstery and care should be taken.
